Air Jordan 2012 Lite Black White

The Air Jordan 2012’s design was inspired by Portland’s 1930’s ‘Jumptown’ jazz scene, the high contrast ‘Tinker Hatfield’ colorway in particular a clear throwback to that flamboyant era. But what happens when you strip away all the wingtip and zoot suit appeal from Jordan Brand’s performance flagship? The Air Jordan 2012 Lite proves that among the AJ2012’s great strengths is ‘layered’ design, though if we use that word literally, the Lite’s essence is derived by removing layers. An all-Flywire upper whose lines merely imply the 2012’s signature brogue-perfed leather, this ‘Tinker’ redux can be seen in greater detail after the jump below. Let us know how they compare to the design lead’s namesake Quickstrike when you’re on the other side and stick with Sneaker News for release info. Photos: Taobao
