The comic book and sneaker cultures have both undergone a similar explosion over the past five or so years, each propelled by blockbuster releases bringing throngs of new folks into the fold. Perhaps the biggest blockbuster release we’ll ever see in the comic book category was the big screen release of The Avengers, that Marvel super squad so jam packed with talent. One of the big reasons the movie was a hit was its ability to cram so many big name heroes into one piece, which is exactly what Expression Airbrush has done on this custom pair of Nike Dunk High’s dubbed ‘What the Vengers’, painting them pretty much all over with a comic book look featuring space for Captain America, the Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor. Click through for a detailed look at this crazy piece that even paints the box with its inspiration and assemble your comments after the jump.
