‘Vibrant red camouflage’ is something of an oxymoron and most definitely not the truest example of a ‘concealment’ pattern, but then again, the Footscape was never designed to blend in. Toren Orzeck’s ode to the alternative ’90s was overshadowed at first by Sergio Lozano’s submission to the Mount Rushomre of sneakers, but just as the latter 1995 alum has only grown in popularity since its release, the Footscape line has expanded to fill a niche. It started with Japanese tastemakers and has most recently accompanied some of Nike Sportswear’s most daring work, these new Nike Footscape Frees being no exception. Deep red ‘camo’ isn’t sneaking up on anyone, though you will have the mobility bestowed by Free soles should you need to make a quick getaway. Check these out after the jump, let us know how they compare to the plainer styles we previewed for the holiday season and stick with Sneaker News for release info. via Kasina
