Beyond its status as one of the cult heroes of the outdoor niche, the Air Humara (not to be confused with its immediate successor, Air Terra Humara) can be seen as a predecessor to modern Nike runners including the Powerlines series and other models with Dynamic Fit. The Nike Newmara has this intelligent lockdown system in place as well, an update to the aforementioned 1996 debut that rides a sole identical to the ACG Okwahn II, with the exception of the two-toned midsole base applied beneath the offroad-ready speckles. Nike has issued several strong trail releases in the past three or four years; where does the Newmara rank against instant classics like the Lunar MacLeay, Air Force 1 Boots of all types or any of the winter-ready Foamposite releases?
