Nike has been the industry leader in marketing and visual design for basically the entire modern era. The company’s most memorable efforts achieved global recognition, including both the Swoosh logo and the once-rebellious, oft-appropriated ‘Just Do It’ slogan. Today we see graphic designer Txaber rethink these icons, crafting the logo and tagline in a new typeface that carried the look of wooden slats. Reminiscent of the artist’s ‘Absolut Strips’, these characters have the look of hardwood flooring that’s been curled up to add a level of depth that’ll need to be rendered fairly largely to fully appreciate. Stick with Sneaker News to see where this ‘Just Type It’ font goes from here and let us know what you think after seeing more images below.
