Nike Air Base II – Mortar Grey – Blue Hero

The spring 2013 round of Nike Air Base II colorways brought back the bold early 1990s looks from the model’s debut. It looks like round two will deviate from the OG script a bit, as we see a new blue-accented range of greys apply a novel material to the typically mesh areas. Ripstop nylon is pretty similar in terms of weight, but the gridded texture adds an extra boost to this low-key makeup whose charm lies in its subtlety. These Air Base IIs should hit Nike Sportswear dealers within a month or so, and you can see more images in the meantime after the jump.
