The Nike Kobe 9 NSW Lifestyle is one of many Swoosh shoes that will be doing the “Year of the Horse” thing this year. Where it differs from the rest of the pack though is in its usage of pony hair across the upper. That material seems like a no-brainer as far as the “YOTH” theme is concerned, but Nike has for the most part ignored it-presumably wanting to ignore any sort of convention or expecations people may have had surrounding the set.
