You have to figure that the “Aunt Pearl” Nike KDs mean more to Durant than most of the colorways out there thanks to the familial tribute in place. In fact that’s probably helped out the sneaker’s staple status within the Nike Kevin Durant line quite a bit, as the man himself seems to be unwilling to let a signature silhouette entry go by without a mention of his late aunt.
