The triumphant conclusion of the adidas ZX running line came in 1989 with the introduction of the thousands series.  ’89 saw the debut of the adidas ZX 5000, 8000 and 9000 (4000 and 6000 too, though those aren’t included in this set), so that means we’re in the midst of those releases’ 25th anniversaries.  adidas Originals came up with an interesting way of celebrating these classics, which is to invert the original colorways.  This will have the effect of both creating three new styles that follow familiar templates, as well as making for a trio that stands out at night.  Click in to see more from each pair and be ready when they hit next Tuesday at Originals accounts like Suppa.
