Is there a chemistry problem with the Cleveland Cavaliers? Can David Blatt coach at the NBA level? Can Kyrie and K.Love play defense? Is there a cushioning problem with the Nike LeBron 12s? All of this comes with being touted as the best basketball player on the planet, and just three games into the season, LeBron is well aware of the headlines. In the sneaker world, his LeBron 12 was delayed a bit, but release dates are in fact confirmed and settled. But what about the shoe’s construction? A recent shot of another LeBron 12 PE from inside the Cavaliers’ locker room – this time in an ominous black and yellow – shows LeBron adding some extra cushion in the form of Footcare Express performance insoles. The company is based in Miami (don’t tell ESPN, because The return Part 2 rumors would already be in the works). But what does this say about the cushion provided by his twelfth signature sneaker? With no midsole to focus on the hexagonal air units on the outsole, LeBron looks to be making some tweaks, but it isn’t unheard of to use custom orthotics. Stay tuned for more info.
