The Nike SB Dunk returned to form this year with a number of creations that brought to mind the golden era of the silhouette back in the early aughts. Releases like the Nike SB Dunk High “Diamond” and Nike SB Dunk High “Cali” helped us usher in some nostalgia for our favorite colorways while the likes of the “Northern Lights” Dunk High showed that the sneaker could still hold down a new look. This Nike SB Dunk High “De La Soul 2” is a bit of both, as the legendary rap crew gets another shot at the model. The 2005 release with the iconic album cover of 3 Feet High and Rising on the side panels gets reworked with a clean white leather finish that more closely resembles the Low variety than the elephant printed high top. They’re headed to retailers early next year – a decade after the original pair arrived and then subsequently disappeared from shelves. Are you feeling this reworking? Check out more images after the click and stay tuned for a release date in the near future.
