This December 29th, Nike will be bringing back the Nike Zvezdochka in honor of the shoe’s 10th anniversary. Partnering with Marc Newson, the design process wielded one of the most unexpected results in the Swoosh’s history, as the finished product was a silhouette inspired by Russian cosmonauts in which all aspects of the shoe was customizable. From the ventilated overlay to the choice of a mesh insert, rugged trail-esque or smooth outsole, the shoe was definitely ahead of its time.
