The Nike Air Max Uptempo was one of the most popular basketball shoes seen on-foot during the 1995-96 NBA season, so why Nike is referencing the Spurs with a reference to their ‘fiesta’ home court colors is still a little murky. There wasn’t a particular player on the roster who championed this sneaker, and yet here it is donning a unique graphic lining while an added dash of blue hits the outsole. While a subtle black and white keeps things traditional throughout most of the shoe, Light Pink does hit the Air Max unit as well as the unique Uptempo logo on the heel. With a Derek Fisher PE already in the works and the lifestyle suede looks releasing so sporadically, the randomness continues.
