There are enough retro-inspired details on the Nike Air Penny 6 to make fans of one of basketball’s biggest historical cases of ‘what ifs’ in one Anfernee ‘Penny’ Hardaway happy. From the unique pattern on the gel-like Swoosh branding to plenty of Posite throughout, the Penny 6 also manages to bring a number of new traits to the table, from a Dynamic Flywire support system to Zoom Air on the heel. If it weren’t for a number of injuries that hobbled Penny throughout the latter half of his career, we probably would’ve seen a sixth signature silhouette from him much sooner. The famous Copper colorway sees the familiar shade of aged metal return, but the choice of black suede throughout the base will definitely turn some heads.
