By now it’s no secret that Jordan Brand has something rather special planned for their annual holiday release of the Air Jordan 11. Referencing a season for the ages in which Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls won 72 of a possible 82 regular season games demands materials worthy of the historic feat, so with the Air Jordan 72-10 we see the usual cordura upper replaced with a premium tumbled leather. The black base exudes a revisionist’s history of the classic ‘Bred’ aesthetic, as a milky translucent white outsole matches the midsole. A revamped Jumpman logo ditches the stitching for a bolstered metal in metallic red and detailing like a 72-10 on the lace tips is just the tip of the iceberg in regards to hidden gems all over the silhouette (faint hints at the top record in NBA history are everywhere, including the inner lining).
