Yesterday, First Lady Michelle Obama teamed up with LeBron James at the star basketball player’s hometown college, Univeristy of Akron, to promote higher education for area youth. The campaign to promote college education joined LeBron’s own LeBron James Family Foundation—which provides youth under James’ mentorship the chance to attend the University of Akron on his dime—with Mrs. Obama’s Better Make Room initiative to also promote higher education. At the event, LeBron broke out a never before seen colorway of the Nike LeBron 13, which at this point is not known if it will be a general release, or just a NIKEiD colorway created by LeBron.
