In the early 2000s there was a time when Tracy McGrady ruled supreme. His adidas T-Mac line was full of must-haves and his scoring output was second to none. The three stripes has smartly brought back the adidas T-Mac 5 in a number of new colorways, but we’ve yet to see any of them land on stateside shelves. Instead a number of Chinese exclusives have kept our interest while we wait and see what’s next. Today we get a look at the adidas T-Mac 5 “Rain”, a pair that utilizes a weather resistant upper to take the nickname into the literal. An array of blue shades create a heavy rainfall graphic throughout while ‘It Starts Rainin’ is stitched on the inner ankle for a nod at McGrady’s signature range. This pair will arrive overseas this Saturday, November 14th and we’ll keep you updated once this special edition adidas T-Mac retro hits U.S. shops.
