Nike’s played up that whole iridescent aesthetic in a number of futuristic ways, whether it be introducing a new women’s exclusive Huarache model, showcasing the shiny unicorn skin texture to their Flyknit chukka series, or letting the accent speak for itself like Nike Sportswear does here with this upcoming Nike Air Force 1 High. Subtlety and Iridescence don’t necessarily go hand-in-hand, but when paired with a premium and traditional white leather base, the results are as contrasting as they are head-turning. The Swoosh branding, heel, and lace dubraes all feature the rainbow array of Deep Pewter that morphs into spots of purple, green, and teal once light hits the patent leather material.
