Patrick Ewing ditched adidas to run his own brand, Ewing Athletics, in a move that was trailblazing in its own right during his early 90s dominance. Sure, Ewing Athletics came and went after his playing career ended, but major retro releases have shown the benefit of multiple bring-backs throughout the past half decade. Now a lesser known model, the Ewing Image, is making a comeback in honor of the Knicks’ 1994 run to the NBA Finals. The high-top silhouette was worn by Pat when he faced off against Hakeem and company and features a neoprene mesh and nubuck construction that was a bit lighter than past offerings.
