Air Jordan 17 Copper Release Details 5

Michael Jordan’s return to the game of basketball with the Washington Wizards was mostly a forgettable affair, but the one good part of it, of course, were the shoes. Fortunately, Jordan Brand is bringing back one of the most memorable sneakers from that early 2000’s era, the “Copper” Air Jordan 17+. First appearing in 2002, this particular 17 was one of the most premium Air Jordan releases ever at the time, as it featured croc skin on the heel and Copper accents throughout the shoe, as well as a carrying case instead of a regular box. Nearly 15 years later, the shoe finally comes back after being requested by fans for many years, but it’s going to come with a price. Releasing next Saturday, April 9th, the shoes comes with a $250 price tag, which is understandable considering it is a remastered version. It’s going to be a good year for the AJ 17+ in fact, as the brand also has plans to release a “Bulls” inspired colorway next month. Get a better look at the shoe with official photos below.
