The Under Armour Curry 3 Looks Nothing Like The First Two Models, And That’s A Good Thing

Under Armour Curry 3 First Look

On Monday, Steph Curry was spotted wearing the his upcoming Under Armour Curry 3, the third signature of the burgeoning signature legacy that is set for a debut in August/September. At quick glance, the Curry 3 looks nothing like the Curry 1 or 2, the two top-sellers that many have pointed out are incredibly similar to one another and seem to be mimics of Nike’s Hyperdunk from 2008. But given Steph’s undeniable ownership of the NBA throne, the Under Armour design team (which we presume is led by Tom Luedecke, who designed the Curry 2) has taken a different approach to the design, giving the shoes some actual personality and flair that first two versions lacked entirely. We’re not ignoring the fact that the Curry 1 and 2 were insane hits at retail, but the shoes thrived solely on Steph’s star power and it’s time for the UA team to step up and create something truly ground-breaking now that they finally have an audience that is expecting something more. Get a look at some more upcoming colorways of the Curry 3 and let us know what your thoughts are after getting a look at Steph’s upcoming shoes.
