The Nike Payaa took the Roshe Run’s simplistic design to task and has since become a go-to for the lifestyle-centric women looking for a comfortable and sleek aesthetic for the warmer days ahead. The Nike Paya was inspired by the payaaqek, a boot created by natives of Alaska and features a unique lacing system by dropping the eyelets all the way to the beginning of the shoe’s midsole. We’ve seen a slimmer, Flywire-esque lace construction before, but here a thicker rope lace wraps around the midfoot in a matching Wolf Grey while a Bright Crimson Swoosh stands out on a clean white midsole/outsole unit.
