Occasionally New Balance likes to branch out from their coveted neutral and speed running retro line to bring back some of their more casual-minded offerings. Today we get a look at the New Balance 520 “Hairy Suede” Pack, an option perfect for anyone who wants to skip over the current dad-wave style of the NB 990 for a different vintage aesthetic. Both pairs sport suede so hairy you might mistake it for terrycloth at first glance. The colorways come in either classic Navy or Off-White with pre-yellowed midsoles, a lightweight nylon base, and additional leather on the heels for a timeless option on a model that New Balance rarely ever touches. Expect both Hairy Suede colorways to arrive at select locations later this month.
