New Ewing Athletics Concept Honors Knicks Great Anthony Mason

Ewing Concept Anthony Mason Colorway 1

Ewing Athletics is paying tribute to the late Anthony Mason, one of Patrick Ewing’s teammates of the great 1990s era of basketball in New York, with a special colorway of the Concept. Officially partnering with Mason’s son Anthony Mason Jr., the shoe features a classic Knicks color scheme honoring the man that helped form the rough and tough identity of those ’90s Knicks teams. Mason Jr. helped design the shoe, crafting it with special details like his dad’s #14 with wings and a halo on each midfoot strap and heel in tribute to the departed basketball legend.

The Anthony Mason colorway of the Concept will be celebrated with a special launch event open to the public at Jimmy Jazz in Mason Jr.’s hometown of Jamaica, Queens this Saturday, July 29th from 4-6pm at 89-45 165th St. Jamaica, NY 11432. The event will include a NY Knicks promo truck along with special guests including NBA players, rappers, and more. There will also be a free throw shooting contest and free ice cream courtesy of Mikey Likes It Ice Cream.
