U.S. customs recently seized a huge shipment of counterfeit Air Jordans from China totaling an MSRP of $54,715. On December 15th, seven parcels arrived from China to Dulles Airport, all addressed to the same destination in Alexandria, VA. In those seven parcels were 400 pairs of Air Jordans, with some appearing to be replicas of the Air Jordan 11 “Win Like 96” and Air Jordan 11 “Heiress”. This is still a paltry amount compared to what’s actually seized on a daily basis; during the 2016 fiscal year, U.S. Immigration and Customs enforcement sized $3.8 million worth of products on a daily basis.
