Kendrick Lamar Debuts Nike Cortez Kenny 1 At National Championship Halftime Show

You can’t draw up a more natural partnership than what Kendrick Lamar and Nike have surrounding the Cortez. The Compton native grew up with the classic running shoe turned lifestyle icon, so the narrative around the upcoming collaborative releases between the rap star and the Swoosh is sure to be authentically driven. Earlier this evening during the college football National Championship halftime show, Kendrick Lamar wore the upcoming Nike Cortez Kenny 1 inspired by the DAMN album. The shoes actually have the Swoosh removed and have the four-letter album name printed on the upper. The Nike Cortez Kenny 1 is scheduled to release on January 26th on Nike SNKRS; stay tuned for more details regarding the drop.
