A Sea-Ready New Balance 998 Arrives In Teal And Navy

After last week’s ocean-ready blue and silver New Balance 998, the Boston-based brand is keeping the nautical themes rolling on their fabled silhouette with a teal and navy take. Featuring darkier, stormier tones than the first iteration, the shoe boasts a dark teal mesh toebox with a grey suede midfoot piece. Bright white detailing adorns the midfoot logo as well as around the heel and lacing system for a touch of brightness, while smooth navy blue suede arrives on the mudugard and a shaggier suede is used on the heel and tongue. A small reflective hit arrives on the heel as well for a touch of low-light visibility. The shoe is completed with a black TPU heel cage, two-tone grey/white midsole, and black outsole.
