The Air Jordan 7 Low NRG Will Release For The First Time In September

For the first time ever, the Air Jordan 7 Low is set to leave the annals of Jordan Brand sample lore and hit retailers in three colorfully-designed iterations next month. Utilizing color ideals from the Jumpman’s heralded past, the Tinker Hatfield designed silhouette from 1992 is set to take on Bordeaux, Taxi, and Concord. While the Bordeaux iteration is a near carbon copy from the OG colorway 16 years ago, the Concord and the Taxi varieties offer two refreshing takes on one of the most popular Jordan silhouettes. Throughout its lengthy life, the hero of MJ’s seventh signatures silhouette has inarguably been its wildly color blocked tongue. From the Jordan 7 True Red from ’92 to the Flint Grey version from ’02, we have seen this sneaker’s tongue done up in a number of eye-catching ways with haphazardly-placed geometric patterns. That idea continues with two-thirds of the collection – devoid of the Taxi pair – as the Bordeaux and Concord selections usher in retro-style color schemes.

We have seen low versions of time-tested Jordan sneakers do well in the past, the likes of the Air Jordan 11 Low and the remixed take on the shoe that started it all, the Jordan 1.
