With LeBron James‘s first season as a Los Angeles Laker off to an interesting start and his new Nike LeBron 16 shoes propelling his long-running signature line forward, it’s a good time to be the King. Now, LBJ has another interesting pair on the way, as the LeBron 16 “I’m King” is set to release in December. The King’s newest kicks feature a textured black Battleknit upper and black heel piece, while monarchical gold accents arrive both on the rear half of the midsole and on the tongue’s embroidered signature. “I’M KING” is debossed on the heel in bold block letters and overlaid with a small Swoosh, letting you know just who the ruler of the NBA is — and a purple Dunkman logo on the heel adds a little extra royal detail. The kid’s sizes — pictured both below and above — feature segmented Zoom Air cushioning instead of the full-foot iteration used on the men’s size pairs for a slimmed-down look, and an aggressive traction pattern ensures outstanding grip and court feel. Check out these new LeBrons below, and look for them to release in full family sizes at retailers like Finish Line on December 15th.
