Ben Felderstein Ever since last year, we have seen the Three Stripes re-focus their energy away from the seamless sock-like runner and toward the bulky, over-layered dad shoe the likes of the Yung-1 and the Falcon. Its newest entrant into that crowded market comes by way of the Ozweego Neoprene silhouette that can be seen here in its most boisterous kit yet. Once again inspired by adidas’ vast archival past, this model draws inspiration from the Ozweego running line 0f the 90s with a bit of a resemblance to the Yeezy 500.
Up top, the mesh-infused upper of the newest color scheme sticks to a primarily off white base, but its sole opts to usher in a vibrant gradient rainbow pattern that starts with a fiery red at its toe and fades all the way to a deep purple toward its rear. Its insoles read “love unites” in a similar rainbow pattern, possibly hinting at an upcoming National Pride Month release some time in June.
