Michael Le Diverting their attention away from their current skate-focused and Jordan 1 heavy trajectory, Beaverton is ushering back in the many tennis make-ups under the NikeCourt moniker, breathing new life into the Hard Court Lite 2 as they cook up the dish for three diverse yet equally strong recipes. Much more alike than the last, the first two arrive in somewhat similar material executions and color swathes. The former, dubbed “Pink Foam” exudes the 90s air in its overall aesthetic, using vibrant tones of pink, blue, and red throughout with hairy suede toe caps and eye stays adding textural dimension to the mostly smooth leather composition. In a small departure, the White/Sail iteration is largely contemporary and neutral despite its yellowed and gum bottoms; what connects much deeper, however, is the vintage-esque iconography found in place of the swoosh as well as a remixed Court logo embroidered atop the heel. Forgoing those accents, the third entry dons the boldly stamped check with constructions barren of color coming detailed by a bright yellow along the top line.
