Michael Le The Nike Air Monarch continues its annual celebrations from last year’s father’s day with a tooling that almost entirely encapsulates the ethos of the heralded dad shoe. Outfitting perfectly with a pair of boot cut jeans and a tucked in polo, the upper’s main fabrication consists of a faded indigo denim, diverting from the color only in its various accents. Bottoms don a smooth gum sole, matching the various earth tones that adorn the glossy leathers of the swoosh as well as the mix of hits on the eyestay, tongue, and heel tab. Bold red embroidery — sparingly though loudly — intermingles across the entire construction, adding some needed pop of color the entire palette.
