Sneaker News sacai’s imaginative take on the LDWaffle, an 2-in-1 amalgam of the Waffle and the LDV runners, has sparked an experimental micro-trend within sneakers. Vans has chosen to one-up that concept with their own take cleverly named the “3RA”, which features the Era silhouette twice imposed above the standard frame. The results are compelling as the natural stitch components have tripled on the toe-box and heel and the vulcanized rubber outsole has been beefed up to include three total pieces (the red bumper on the heel reveals that detail the best).
