Nike Adds Quilted Grids To The Nike React Element 55

The Nike React Element 55, though greeted to lukewarm responses at its inception, has slowly begun paving a path of its own separate from its older and arguably more popular sibling; with a marble-printed collaboration from Kendrick Lamar on the way, the silhouette has learned more than a few ways to make use of its non-translucent uppers as exemplified by its latest two. Toned down in color and certainly much quieter than the artist’s own, each pair makes up for what it lacks in vibrancy through materials heavily more interesting; instead of the usual base of flat synthetics, uppers are quilted in grids all across, stopping only at the overlays atop the lace unit and gloss taping. Swooshes laid out in the same patterned engravings are treated to contrast by way of blue along the black colorway while swapping to darker shades on the accompanying white option. Sole units follow along in compliment with glittery pieces lined within while tongues, webbing, and laces arrive in similar tint without the feminine touch-up. Grab a detailed look at both right here and find them rolling out to Nike.com soon.
