Nike Merges The Vapor And Cage Series Into One Shoe For Rafael Nadal

Nike Merges The Vapor And Cage Series Into One Shoe For Rafael Nadal

Besides being an aspirational marketing slogan, Nike’s “Engineered to the exact specifications of championship athletes” tagline has pushed the Swoosh (and most its competitors) to innovate, be it for the pitch, the hardwood, or, as is the case with Nike Tennis’ newest creation, the clay-court. First unveiled by Rafael Nadal in his dramatic win over Daniil Medvedev in this year’s U.S. Open, the NikeCourt Zoom Vapor Cage 4 caters to the Spaniard’s intensely nuanced game, as it combines the durability of the Cage series with the speed of the Vapor line. Unlike the quieter pair Nadal wore to win his 19th Grand Slam title, the upcoming public release of the NikeCourt Zoom Vapor Cage 4 boasts a part-studded, part-sleek upper split down the middle in a purple, white, and black color scheme, with a medley of burnt orange, red, and indigo outfitting the shoe’s heel. The hybrid model sits atop an attention-grabbing infrared, Zoom-Air-outfitted outsole. If you’re interested in grabbing the champion-caliber shoe, the NikeCourt Zoom Vapor Cage 4 will be dropping on Nike.com and at select retailers on January 2. For now, grab a detailed look at the pair here below.
