In the modern day market, Nike SB‘s stock is way up, once again joining the ranks of the most coveted Swoosh-marked subs with the help of collaborators Supreme, Diamond Supply, and the like. Certainly paving the way for quite a few more years onward, the brand has been given a bit of slack to be adventurous with their inline colorways, the latest bringing back the imaginative playfulness many have grown to associate with SB. Arriving in twos, the “Truck It” pack pays homage to road trips with 70s stylized decals at the sides just atop their profile checks. Both the Dunk Low and Dunk High see to these very motifs with suede-constructed uppers favoring an off-white and dark black, respectively; elsewhere, their profile logos dye in either a baby blue or a sunset orange — the latter tone in complement with the darker offering — etching just along a contrast striped pattern with embroideries underneath creating an intricate 3D effect all around, two visual arrangements that honor its inspiring era. More subtly, you can find the shorter variant embellished with a small cactus on its center lace lock, a small graphic hit that makes nod to both of their insoles sprawling print of a desert landscape.
