The Nike React Element 55 “Schematic” Arrives With Light Orange Touches

The Nike React Element 55 “Schematic” Arrives With Light Orange Touches

Following its debut in the Hyperdunk 2017 and the Super.Fly 2017 basketball models, Nike React cushioning has found its footing in the running and lifestyle markets. While the newly-launched injury-reducing Infinity Run exhibits just how much stock the Swoosh is placing on the proprietary foam for its performance-related endeavors, silhouettes like the Vision and Element 55 – seen here in yet another “Schematic” ensemble – demonstrate Nike’s commitment to offering stylish, comfortable footwear to the most casual of sneaker wearers. Though previously released collaboratively with the likes of Kendrick Lamar and the NFL, the React Element 55 has arguably thrived on its own merit over the past two years and this barebones outfit exemplifies just that. Popularized by the Air Max 1 in 2019, the “Schematic” theme isn’t new to the 55, but this is the first time it shows up on the lifestyle model in neither black nor white. Yes, “Sail” is a close relative of the latter tone, but when combined with light-orange accents around the laces and heel, the cream hue creates something refreshing while still keeping all the sketch-like details synonymous with this concept: grid-patterns, pressure-point indicators, swoosh outlines.

Take a closer look at this diagrammatic arrangement here below while you wait for its likely Nike.com and select retailer release as we inch closer to the Spring.
