The Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit 2.0 “University Red” Is Available Now

The Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit 2.0 “University Red” Is Available Now

Among the Nike Air Force 1‘s countless reimaginations over the last 38 years, a Flyknit upper is arguably oft-forgotten. A new “University Red” makeup, however, demonstrates just how impressive the textile-version of Bruce Kilgore’s 1982 design is.

Flyknit construction from toe to heel adds a lightweight spin on the classic basketball silhouette. Streaks of “Wolf Grey” and “Black” appear throughout the knit upper, but are overshadowed by the aforementioned scarlet hue. “University Red” also animates the tongue tag, which features “Black” branding. Elsewhere, the dark color scheme carries over onto the laces and their leather guards, inner lining, rear overlay, and profile Swooshes. Underfoot, the breathable Air Force 1 Low boasts a timeless “White” sole unit.

No stateside release date is yet known, but this Air Force 1 Flyknit 2.0 is currently available at Nike.com overseas for the equivalent of $110 USD.
