By way of his signature shoe, the ANTA GH1, Gordan Hayward has been able to express himself with an immense creative freedom, choosing to deliver Christmas pairs and even colorways influenced by his own haircut. But while generally less than serious, the athlete is now readied to explore an inspiration more personal as he uses his own family as the crux for the silhouette’s “final reveal.”
Dubbed “Girls Art Work,” the offerings allows the athlete’s daughters to take the role of designers, the trio choosing to bring color and playful imagination into every facet of the pair’s construction. The upper, whose base makes use of a plain white template, is quickly tweaked and colored atop with what seems to be a watercolor kit and a small handful of patches; splotches of varying color provide the toe box, profile, and heel counter an array of blue, yellow, orange, hot pink, and red accents, while the tongue, in its general untouched state, is accessorized with puppy cut-outs, unicorn-marked badges, and much more. Then, for a louder finish, the insole displays a small collection of stickers, a set that ranges from stars, random smileys, horses, and much more.
Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release to arrive later this month on August 20th.
In other news, a Yeezy D Rose silhouette is in the works.
