Where To Buy The Nike SB Dunk High “Doraemon”

Where To Buy The Nike SB Dunk High “Doraemon”

Nike, both in their collaborations and general releases, have drawn inspiration from Japan in a number of ways this past year alone. And after some sashiko darning and indigo dyes, the brand is readying up an SB Dunk High that pays overt homage to one of the country’s titans of animation: Doraemon.

Revealed by Kevin Perez nearly two months ago, its likely the colorway is nearing an upcoming Fall release as official images have appeared just today. Its bright reds and complementing blues create the loose image of the titular character, every one of his signature features represented in some fashion. Tongues, laces, and the lining all dress up in mimicry of the robotic cat’s subtler highlights — i.e. his collar, tongue, nose, and tail — while blue suede overlays and white tumbled leather liken to the rest of his anatomy. Then, for subtler, finish, the lace lock and tongue patch are coated in a bright yellow, nodding to the bell that hangs along Doraemon’s neck.

Grab a close-up look at these right here and expect a somewhat limited Orange Label release. Only select Orange Label stockists are set to receive shipments later this September.

In other news, another Bulls Jordan 1 Low has appeared.

Updated 08/28/20: A rumored release date of September 5th has surfaced.
