While the Air Jordan line has taken off in the streetwear scene with the popularity of models such as the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 4, the brand continues to expand its line of performance sneakers. The Jordan Trunner, geared towards training and running as suggested by the name, is a prime example of how Jordan is able to innovate to serve athletic audiences. Their new new Zoom Trunner Advance from that umbrella will arrive in a colorway reminiscent of the South Beach to demonstrate how the brand doesn’t compromise style with performance.
The white lightweight mesh uppers create a clean, sleek base for the model. Peeking through the mesh and diamond-pattern cage midsole are hints of color, specifically the signature Miami orange. A bright teal is used on the tongue to carry out the Miami-friendly color treatment further. Much like other models of the Jordan Trunner line, the pair has Zoom Air cushioning under the forefoot to offer maximum responsiveness while running. The performance-minded design and clean colorway make the Jordan Trunner deserving of athletes’ approval.
