First rumored in May, the Nike LeBron 8 “Lakers” is slated to launch before 2020 ends, and thus, begin the model’s globally-accessible retro-cycle.
Unlike its predecessor’s, the silhouette’s tribute to the 2019-2020 NBA Champions isn’t arriving in a mismatched arrangement. Instead, each shoe indulges in a suede and synthetic upper predominantly clad in “Court Purple” complemented by “University Gold” around the tongue, collar and profile swooshes. Max Air units underfoot further indulge in the latter hue, while multi-directional tread boasts the once-regal counterpart.
An official Nike SNKRS release date hasn’t been disclosed, but the pair is set to launch in December. In the meantime, enjoy a first look at LeBron James‘ forthcoming proposition ahead.
