From faithful Retros to more surprising SB colorways, the Nike Blazer Mid has transformed time and time again — most of these releases revealed days from one another. And now, after a relatively quiet weekend, the brand seems to be celebrating big milestones by tweaking the silhouette’s swoosh construction.
Rather than being overlaid as per usual, the check is now far more interesting and also far more removable. The typical suedes/leathers are gone entirely, with thick, paracord-like stitch taking their place. This double zigzag execution wraps all across the profile, intersecting over and over again in a bright red up to the heel at which the string tightens into a very small ball. Elsewhere, the offering is far more straightforward aside from a few details: white uppers pair up with yellow tongues, while translucent outsoles match the seemingly commemorative energy of the three-ring label and insole logo.
Grab a close-up look at these for yourself, and as they’ve since released over in Asia, a Nike.com release stateside shouldn’t be too far away.
In other news, the Question Mid Yellow Toe is finally releasing.
