In addition to Allen Iverson’s signature sneaker line, Reebok has been retroing some of its most iconic basketball silhouettes from the late 1980s and ’90s over the last several years. Up next on the schedule is the Shawn Kemp-associated Reebok Kamikaze II in a “Modern Beige/Stucco/Pixel Mint” colorway.
Unlike previously-seen collaborations with Candy Land and NERF, the newly-surfaced style indulges in a muted, rather tonal arrangement. Mixed-materials across the upper opt for either “Modern Beige” or “Stucco,” with the majority of the sole units following suit. Branding on the lateral forefoot, top of the tongue and heel deviate in a cool mint colorway; zig-zag midsole detailing towards the rear of the shoe also partake in the “Pixel Mint” tone that keeps the shoe from appearing uniform. Underfoot, visible cushioning rounds out the sneaker’s tri-color palette in the spring-appropriate hue.
