A Multi-Color, Woven Base Lands On The Nike Air Huarache

A Multi-Color, Woven Base Lands On The Nike Air Huarache

As summer inches closer, the Swoosh is unveiling more and more footwear options for those looking for improved breathability, eye-catching colorways and all-day comfort. The Nike Air Huarache’s latest ensemble fits the description well.

Deviating from Tinker Hatfield’s original design from 1991, the upcoming take on the running silhouette features a woven base layer instead of neoprene one. A stain glass window-reminiscent medley of colors lands on the Air Huarache’s woven layer, while navy takes over leather overlays at the top of the toe, quarter forefoot and along the tongue. Fabric on the tongue and right underneath the sneaker’s collar opt for a light shade of blue, though surrounding molded plastic components deviate from the spring and summer-friendly hues in favor for black and day grey flavor. Lastly, the shoe dons a muted neon green-colored midsole partly comprised of recycled material (as denoted by its speckled finish).

No firm Nike.com release date has been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change as summer rolls around. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
