Sneaker News Nike’s retro-heavy thematic surfaces once more, bringing with it a groovy set of numerals and a double-swoosh treatment on the Air Max 95. Already featured on the Air Force 1, Pegasus 83, and other iconic models, this retro-heavy aesthetic now arrives on the Air Max 95 boasting some unprecedented detailing on the silhouette.
While the overall build of the shoe remains, Nike has added a double-Swoosh treatment on its customary position by adding an outlined logo above the standard. The heel of the 95, which is designed to look like a sternum of an anatomical ribcage, swaps the usual Nike Air logo for a 95 in the hippie-style font. The tongue logo swaps the famed “airmax” for an updated look, with various emblems overlaid atop one another.
