Shaggy Swooshes Appear On The Nike Waffle One

The Nike Waffle One hasn’t experienced much of a push in popularity with the help of high-profile collaborations since entering the market, but it’s garnered a decent amount of attention on its own.

Recently, the vintage Nike Running-inspired silhouette appeared with a rich off-white and green color combination atop a mix of textile and fabrics. A shaggy, towel-like material lands on the light green profile swooshes, while overlays at the toe, along the tongue and across the heel keep things more refined. Midsole units seemingly harken back to the 1970s with their slightly-yellowed appearance, which unite with the waffle-patterned tread underfoot to create a tooling solution rooted in heritage. Together, all aforementioned components further expand the already-expansive legacy that has been Nike’s running catalog.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com release soon.
