Thanks largely in part to Golden Goose, pre-distressed sneakers have been all the rage for some time. And soon, Nike will once again swerve into this lane, as they apply damaged suedes to the Blazer Low Platform.
The distressing is made obvious along the Swoosh and heel tab, as their suedes start a bright pink. Dirt has reduced both fixtures to a darker, more desaturated hue, and pilling is clearly visible over top. Forward, the overlays along the forefoot lack the same treatment, appearing pristine much like the leather throughout the shoe.
