Michael Le Following countless 40th Anniversary releases as well as collaborations with the likes of Off-White and CdG, the Air Force 1 Mid is now back in the conversation. And to close out one of its busiest years in a long, long while, Nike is giving the silhouette a taste of luxury, reupholstering its Swoosh and heel tab with a premium snakeskin.
Compared to similar styles offered previously, this Air Force 1 Mid is tasteful in its use of the above-mentioned material. Scales are only applied to the Swoosh and heel tab, leaving the rest of the construction devoid of any bold texture and color. Instead, the brunt of these fixtures are clad in white, likening the pair to the Bruce Kilgore-designed classic’s most ubiquitous colorway.
