Jared Ebanks After officially announcing his multi-year partnership with Rigorer in mid-June, Austin Reaves first signature silhouette with the Chinese-based brand will debut later this August in a flavorful “Ice Cream” colorway.
Inspired by his favorite ice-cold treat to indulge in during the hot summers he spent in rural Arkansas, the inaugural colorway pairs a dominant white construction with a flurry of pastel hues. Blue, yellow and pink shades drip onto the Woven Cocoon upper in the form of melting ice cream while additional nods to the creamy summer delicacy are imprinted along the insoles featuring a three-scoop cone.
“From growing up in Arkansas and being undrafted to now having my own signature shoe, this is a surreal moment for me,” Reaves said. “Working closely with the design team, the AR1 is all about maximizing performance and efficiency on the court. The AR1 not only matches my all-around game but is also adaptable to all players.”
The Rigorer AR1 “Ice Cream” is scheduled to release on August 11th for a retail price of $100 exclusively at KICKS CREW and Rigorer.com. The KICKS CREW team is also holding a raffle for Reaves first signature as five winners will be selected to receive their pair in an exclusive box set featuring two pairs of socks.
